BEIJING: TalkTalk, the leading short-form video platform worldwide, has released its new Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the second quarter of this year.
According to the Tik Tok spokesperson, more than one and a half million videos were deleted from Pakistan alone for violating the community guidelines. In comparison, more than 11.38 million videos were deleted globally, which is only one percent of the uploaded videos.
The spokesman said that Pakistan ranked second in the world in terms of the number of videos deleted for violating community guidelines.
According to the report, 97 percent of videos from Pakistan were removed within 24 hours of being posted for violating guidelines, while 98 percent of videos were removed following complaints from users.

Ninety-eight videos were deleted before anyone could see them.
A TikTok spokesperson said the report was issued as an expression of its commitment to a multi-pronged approach to curbing misinformation on the platform.
He further said that the latest Monitoring and Investigative Response Centers are also being established in Washington DC, Dublin, and Singapore this year to prevent cyber accidents.
